This is a question for all 1g owners that installed a boost gauge before a boost controller. Also, please note if you pulled the restrictor out of the boost solenoid. I've heard so many different answers, and I'm interested to see how much variation there really is.
Thanks for the responses guys. Sorry if there was any confusion. Yes, I've already tested the coils and one of them is bad. I've already had to swap the ISC for a new one, which has now gone bad. Instead of buying yet another one, I'm going to put my old one and the newer one together...

I wouldn't drive that car until getting an AFC and a logger, your A/F ratio won't be right... you're probably running a bit lean at all RPMs. That's a recipe for a new engine.

Having 30in vacuum would probably be a good thing, although its pretty much impossible. See if you can borrow a different guage to test the one you have.
