Now, when the sensor is cold its working, but after just idling a bit and the IAT gets up to about 90 the lc-1 stops working again.
Its weird cus the controller doesnt feel warm, and the sensor is brand new.
I also wired it up with a relay straight to the battery positive and negative terminals...
So this can happen if the power source is weak? Might be it since ive installed a new head unit since last time i ran it, and I've used the same power source wire for it.If i end up having to get the lc-2, is it easy to swap out the lc-1 with it? Same color wires, same operation etc.?Thanks
Hi,
My Lc-1 was working fine for one season, then the car sat for about three years, and when i started it up again the other day the wideband was just reading full lean (22.4)
After i free air recalibrated it it gave me an error code 8, so i went out and bought a new sensor.
Everything worked...
After installing a new turbo i need to relocate the alternator to get enough room for my downpipe.
I was thinking of getting the alternator relocation kit that uses the a\c spot, but i also want to retain some a\c in my car, is there a way for me to do this? Are there some electronic a\c...
Alright thanks guys.
Am i right to assume that a lower a\r basically just shifts the whole power curve lower in the rpm range? So with a smaller a\r i would get power earlier in the rpm range but the power will decrease higher up in rpm?
Ah i see. Well my car should be set up for a big turbo. 3in IC piping, 75mm TB, 3in echaust. ported head. bc cams. All my mods are in my DSM Profile now.Do you think maby some of my mods are overkill and are actually hurting the performance? Thanks
What do you mean? Flange port? It`s a T3. I`ve also made a DSM profile now with all my mods ect.I was running 26psi. But my boost controller snapped shut once and the turbo had no problem making 38+psi.
Does anyone else have any more input?
What im looking for is a wide powerband, and a little over 600hp, so if the gtx3076 actually delivers 640hp using a 1.06 ar (and im guessing by the size it spools fast=wide powerband?) i think it would be the perfect turbo, right? The smaller turbo -the...
yeah i see, thanks.im just hesitant to go with anything .63 after my previous turbo being .63 and having backpressure and surge problems.
and in all the threads ive read about the 3582 people are impressed with the power, but the spool is always a concern. but i guess a small .63 a\r would...
Ah, thanks for your input.
yeah my choice has been more or less narrowed down to either the 3576 or the 3582.am i correct in thinking that a .63 3582 would be in the middle of a .82 3576 and .82 3582? in regards to both spool and power.wouldnt there be a chance that id have problems with...
