Just an FYI. CT DSM (ccdsm.net) is doing a DSM drag day on July 9th at LVD. I went 1 1/2 years ago and had a good time. I think I did about 6 runs, but probably could've gotten a lot more in.Chris
Hmmm...that's wierd. It was just working last night. It is in the Wawarsing/Ellenville/Thompson/Monticello/Walton area. Pretty large area, but its a pretty large race :)
Cars were on display tonight. The Wawarsing spectator area is open from 1230-1700 tomorrow, then the Thompson/Monticello...
What's up everyone? I live in Oneonta. Albany DSM used to have a decent following, but then everyone disappeared. Does anybody ever go to Lebanon Valley? I went with the CTDSM guys last fall, it was great.
If anybody ever wants to meet up or needs help working on their car, I'm game.Chris

Unfortunately my server seems to be down right now, so I had to go with google. Hopefully the vid works.
I believe the wire I used for the battery relocation...
The slow cranking is most likely because my battery is nearly dead. I have serious issues keeping a charge with any battery. Batteries and alternator both test Ok. I've checked for shorts using the test light in series with the negative battery cable, but find none. That's another thing...
Excellent!
It was my first time going through a starter, so I'm not sure how well I'll be able to describe what I saw (or didn't see) :)
There was one ball bearing that sat on the end of the large rotor/stator? type device. As for the gearing, I didn't see any bearings that I could get at...
I've searched around a bit, on these forums and others, however I still haven't been able to find a solution to this problem.
It started around the time that I rebuilt my motor (Approx. 10K miles ago). Shortly after it began happening, I replaced the starter with a remanufactured unit. The...
