Little out of the way but might as well throw it out there.There's a pretty big car meet in Iowa City/Coralville on April 2nd as well. Lots of fast cars usually show up. As far as DSM's go, at least I will be there :thumb:

I just bought a used FIPK filter from someone on the link forums and he sent it without the adapter. Great...Called K&N and they want $40 + shipping for the adapter. Not worth it at all. I'm not sure how you sweet talked them into giving it to you for free but I'm seriously about to throw...

Interesting. None of those meetups sound that close. I was hoping to find more IC area DSM'rs but it just doesn't sound like there's really a scene.

Forgot about this thread. I have a house off Lucas and Burlington street, right on campus. I drive a Maroon '95 AWD, just bolt-ons. The 1g beast is still collecting dust in my Chitown garage, there was no way that thing would survive here.

The black evo that blew up was AWD Motorsports. They punched a big fist sized hole in the side of their block and destroyed that pretty front-facing billet turbo as well.

That 10ft beer bong was fun. I was walking pretty intoxicated to the showdown trailer from the Best Western and heard the guy offering free beer bongs. How was I going to pass that up.

There's no official Chicago caravan that I know of yet, haven't checked EvoM just discussed this on ChitownDSM. My group is leaving early Saturday morning, I guess we could leave friday night but we only booked our room at the BW for one night
