Symptoms:Cannot go into gear while motor on.
Can go into gear while off.
While in gear when the motor is off, with the clutch down, the clutch is still engaged and when I try to start the car moves. (This is why I think now it is the pressure plate instead of the synchros)At first I...
I hear you, but why have something most semi well off people have... do the swap. Might be cheaper though (if done on your own), I just don't feel like doing the calculations... :D
Clean your EGR, or block it off. No one has seemed to talk about it... bet yet is keen to holding on to everything this man says and insulting him. None of you are some elite mechanic so sit down if you have nothing good to offer. Just like 2gmummy says, ALL of you have been in his shoes one...
I wouldn't say theorized... if you really took apart the blow off valve and thought about it in consideration of the boost/vac sources and which nipple recieves what? I mean I can create a flash presentation to show you but I think you killed it for me!!!! LOLOLEither way, you have met me...
:confused: AEM MAF... i've never heard of a MAF from AEM for our cars. What I would suggest though is letting us know if you are running a stock maf, GM MAF with or w/o ECMLink, or Speed Density. From there... I'm assuming here, if you are running any of those things, and you have...
No it doesn't look bad (clean actually), but I think the OP wants a lip based on offset and not wheel design because the AXIS hiros have a lip on them but they are flush as in a 42-45 offset. I see what he wants and agree with the same wheel dimensions and just changeing the offset for the stagger.
You know, I love this site... but from time to time, there are some ignorant ass biases that go wondering about. The OP says, as show above "3g eclipse gsx STYLE rims..." Emphasis on style. Now, for the most part, I can confirm this because I had a 3g when they first came out. Then a second...
Did you make sure that the cylinders that you were checking were at TDC? That's when the valves are closed and proper compression can be read. Try again...
Yes and yes. But I would go out and buy the dejon tool maf IC pipe setup. It makes things alot easier... or just by link if you got the money, the IC pipe and a 3" GM MAF. Then your bog/AF ration issue will be a thing of the past. I know, I went through that whole setup... finally graduating...
I think the long wire refers to 2g's between 97-99 because there is no plug for the CAS of those years. But the long plug are for 95-96 2g's that have the plug available for you to cut and adapt to the new harness. If you have a 97 and up, do the long wire into the middle input of the CAS...
If you got a 95, then you have the crazy cam angle sensor on the timing belt side of the head. If you can, check to see if it has any damage. No signal from that or the crank to the ecu and you get a no start because the ecu is not sending the signals to the ignitor/coils. I'm going this...
