Just wanting a wrecked car that I can use for my turbo mighty max project. I'd prefer if engine was still good, but I can rebuild if I have to. The closer to SD and the cheaper, the better!!! Thanks!!

Too bad you aren't interested in an auto. I am going to Casper in 2 weeks and I just built a very nice 91 awd Eclipse. Car has 90k miles, built it with cometic hg, arp studs, rebuilt and ported 14b, and put in a new battery and downpipe, its also getting 4g Eclipse 18" rims with new tires...

I would start off with verifying that the timing is set correctly.

Exhaust is off. I assume the car has been driven on the street, but honestly I don't know any history, I just rescued it from the junkyard is all.Damn. So its basically as extensive as putting a clutch in a manual. I'm an auto newb.

Did you boost like crazy and blow the IC piping apart somewhere? MBC without supporting mods = BAD.

I had the exact same problem with a 96 tsi and it was my coolant temp sensor... You are certain that is not the culprit? Its a $10 part...

Does it turn over really hard? My experience tells me you definitely have bent valves, but I've been wrong before. Generally if its off that far, there will be some bendage and even valves kissing pistons. I would definitely pull things apart and do it right the first time. But I find it...

I have a lifted 03 f250 with eh dreaded 6.0... egr, studs, exhaust, custom tune, etc etc, its never given me any fits, just rolled over 226k a few weeks ago. I'm too lazy to add a pic right now.

I know that awd dyno's in my area are fairly rare as it is, but I'm looking to take the car to a place that has had some experience with dsms and dsmlink. They are basically going to have to tune for me because I don't know what I'm doing.Can anyone recommend a shop around SD thats good...
