    Removing your A/C & P/S belt= More horsepower?

Removing the a/c compressor also frees up room for alternater relocation to get it away from the heat of your turbo and manifold. I'm getting rid of mine for that reason, along with the weight reduction and less clutter. If you're just removing the belt, but not the whole system, then hp gains...

    Hesitation after new air filter

Haha!:thumb: The OP has done a pretty good job of derailing this thread himself, but you're right. Tybucki, any off topic questions from your original thread post will be answered much better and from a wider audience if you direct said topics to new threads.

    Hesitation after new air filter

I recommend royal purple ftw! All of my gears were grinding as well and hard to shift. I upgraded the shift plate bushings to a solid symborski kit, replaced shift lever bushings with teflon ones, replaced the shift end cable bushings with skateboard bearings, and properly adjusted the cable...

DSM OG's!!!!! Who bought a DSM during original production years, and was it new?

That is an awesome story!! Its storys like this that made me want to start this thread. I had a subscription to Turbo mag in the early 90's and remember reading those articles. It was also Turbo mag that introduced me to Buschur Racing which I think was called Alamo Autosports then? Its funny...

    block rebuild kit help

The mach v kit is definately the better of the two kits. I wouldn't waste any money on the ebay junk. At least the mach v kit is all Top Line parts, it'll get ya up and running. I wouldn't trust the timing belt or the oil pump though, go oem on the belt and just re-use your oil pump if its ok.

DSM OG's!!!!! Who bought a DSM during original production years, and was it new?

Exactly! Especially considering your talking about a brand new virgin DSM without a scratch on it, no miles, hasn't been neglected, abused, or beat up by some jackhole, and you can actually say you're the sole owner. Ahhh that new car smell! Plus one can easily spend 20k just trying to restore a...

My First DSM Build am I forgetting anything?

I'm sure you've already done the research and read plenty of threads on this subject but since no one has mentioned it I thought I'd bring it up. Since your using a n/t block without the oil squirters (unless your tapping them in), you may want to consider a forged piston setup. I know its a...

DSM OG's!!!!! Who bought a DSM during original production years, and was it new?

Haha! You might have missed out on the DSM scene in the 90's but you've definately made an impact on the DSM world with your compound turbo setup! Helluva revolution and inspiration man!

DSM OG's!!!!! Who bought a DSM during original production years, and was it new?

I'm sure you would have! The 90's was an epic decade for the advancement of 4 cylinder racing! It was awesome! I remember being pissed though because performance parts for DSM's in the mid 90's were scarce, Honda's had everything available! The internet was shitty and still dial-up, most parts...

DSM OG's!!!!! Who bought a DSM during original production years, and was it new?

Awesome! My Laser was a 1990, the 2G's had just come out and I wanted one bad but couldn't afford one. I wrecked it and completely destroyed it in 1998, and 1 month later I bought a 1991 Laser RS.
