tell me more? i very much like the sound of this altho is it a good enough system to run a turbo 2.2 ecotec at 200-250 hp?

the biggest motivator for me is cost & i know that their will be plenty of support for it once its on. i know i can get a cheap turbo ecu & harness for like 100 bucks whereas if i go MS im going to be spending 400-500 bucks and THEN i have to figure out how to program it to make it even turn...

oh sweet jesus-dont do that!!! thats like people whos shifter splines wear out on their bikes/crotchrockets & they just weld on the shifter ### its not like you ever need to take it off, right? Wrong. if you took the time to rebuild it then take the time to make it seal right or get a new oil...

as far as i know they didnt add the vvt until after 03 but i may be wrong, and i realize that the sensors for crank position & cam position are different-& thats the main thing im worried about because i can think of a way to manage with most all of the other issues-what im concerned about is...

a close friend of mine has a 1987 chrysler lebaron 2.2l turbo 3 speed auto with no aftermarket parts & its getting 9mpg even when he drives it nicely but no check engine lights are on (although they work)-what could this be?

im not worried about accessories-if i have to relocate damn near every one of them, i will. also i have a machinist buddy that said if i can make it fit & figure out the rest, that hed be happy to fab me up a trans adapter plate on the cheap as long as i give him credit if the project ever gets...

and dsm-onster, why is this drivetrain known to be faulty (the 5 speed)-ive never heard anything negative about the 1g 5 speed awds drivetrain up to 300hp or more, which i will not be putting to it... but please, by all means, if theres something seriously flawed with it please let me know...

your pontiac-is it a van? if so thatll have a huge bearing on it-and it sounds like you were having some issues (its just like ive had a 3.1 that got 12mpg & one that got 28-not sure why...
