With an external gate the 16g can be clocked. Grind the mounts for the actuator and polish the compressor housing to make it look really nice.

Tuning with an AFC is like screwing in the back seat of a small car, it can be done but it really doesn't work all that well.You shouldn't have to send the eprom ecu to the US, any electronics repair place should be able to socket a damn eprom slot.
