stick a rod in the spark plug hole and measure the stroke of the piston in the BTDC and Top dead center... make a mark as reference, and then compare the reference with a ruler, and there you got... Easy no????
IF you have the head off is a good oportunity to replace those old piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings, rear and front seals also. so you dont have to deal with all this mess later i forgot to mention , dont forget to hone the cylinders...
Hi guys. i bought a set of HKS cams from a guy almost new , but the cams doesn't have any number for ID. The only numbers located int he exagonal areaof the camshaft is "464" in both of them. Any idea??
Oil pan have to be cuted and rewelded again in order o make it work in a GSX, curve in the front cases is more severere than 2G., this is the only issue in the conversion
hey i have agood edal in 4 2003 evolution connecting rods, and i want o know if somebody hane an idea, if this ones fit my 2G 1997 7 bolt crank. i hear this rods are more stronger than the regular 2G rods. please letme know
