Anyone here ever run avition fuel as race gas? I know its leaded but I dont have a cat, and my front o2 sensor is shot anyways. I cant get reace fuel here and I would like some higher octane fuel for this weeks test and tune. its gonna be hot as hell and I would like to keep my knock down

Go on the trip. You're young and have plenty of time to make lots of money to buy any car you want. Once you start working and getting older the odds of ever being able to do a trip like that are almost nil.Do the trip you will not regret it

It can be done but odds are no. Take the manifold off, order a set of studs and replace them all

Looks to me like you were running lean

And I finally fixed my broken manifold stud which is the reason i pulled all the hot side in the first place. I re tapped all the holes, new studs and new gaskets everywhere on the hot side. If nothing fixing that broken stud will help with gas mileage and maybe let me make a little more power.

Well i got off my ass finally and did some more work. Some more porting and a bit of polishing. Heres the final result. The porting isn't mirror smooth but its all smooth as hell to the touch so its good enough for me.Removed some more material around the wastegate merge area...

So I just ordered a bunch of vacume line from summit. I was planning on picking up some zip ties to use instead of the old clamps. Will they work well enough for the job?

The water lines take 14mm crush washers

Hopefully all the maintenance work i did will pay dividends then when I get her running again. All you really have more than me is a fuel pump which shouldn't really matter at 15ish psi
