    Dsmlink Antilag, and Tuning

was this a billet alum wheel or an Inconel? the titanium aluminide wheels where the ones made to take the higher heat caused by antilag(on the mitsu turbos anyways)

    4G63 in 1974 VW BEETLE!!!

Underlay a Mitsu decal under the emblem wherever you end up putting it. If the vw emblem is 3" diameter make the Mitsu like 6" so it shows underneath and outside the edgesI vote white:thumb:

    4G63 in 1974 VW BEETLE!!!

Alex, if I lived closer to you I would make a trip just to shake your hand. Super cool build man, keep on it. I'll also take the 'lower it' comments a step farther by saying slam this beast My brother-in-law and I were just talking about doing a 4g swap in his '74 super too. Sub'd

Ohlins coilovers now available for the 1g

Thanks very much for the reply, it does answer some of my questions. As far as the concerns about the awd/center diff/big power goes, I won't need to worry about any of that as I will be true rwd shortly. So when i say 'drift', I mean legitimate rear tire smoking sideways fun. That discussion...

Ohlins coilovers now available for the 1g

@ the test mules-Any ideas about how this particular set up would handle drift vs. grip? What I'm hearing seems to be how we'll they stick, what about breaking them free?

'95 Evo III - Going a little extreme

I second the sentiment about the wheels, I'm not a huge fan of white but those look the business:thumb: Now for another 1.5" moar low and you'll be killin' it:sneaky:Is the guy you're comparing maps with running the same cams as you?

1G DSM front k-member and tubular control arms

This for sure. As stated by many before, the ~$400 savings will be huge for a high percentage of people. Plus factoring in the current uncertainty of the sway bar, I think you should strongly consider fabbing for stockers. offering the adjustable arms as an OPTION is key if you're going to...

    Flyer's 4g63 powered '74 celica

Awesome to see another fellow ZeroG'er making progress. Great platform to build on, keep up the good work:thumb:

    Daily Driver Mods, Opinions Wanted!

To the OP-my first dsm was also an n/a, although it was a 1g 4g63 version. I did all the free mods, and a few build-it-yourself mods like CAI, and a full exhaust. While you might net some small HP gains with this stuff, it's not worth it IMO to throw tons of money at. The most...

I got bored and made a subframe.

very interested to see where this goes with the 1g platform, for the rwd application in particular. i'll be tackling the front k-member project over the next few months as time allows. subscribed, and keep up the nice work

    3000gt Vr4 rear in 1g

Anything more on this? Seems like there's some people on here who have good info, but aren't around to elaborate. Is the general consensus that the beefier cover made by frontline would do instead of a swap to the 3/s unit? I'm very interested in the process of this swap and what has to be...

    1984 Celica GTS 4G63 swap

Very nice :thumb: I just pulled my motor for a rwd conversion too, it's always nice to see that it worked out for someone else. That looks like a toyota r154 trans, and that's definitely a Billhousing from Mr. Hincher. Are you planning anything as far as wheels/suspension, or staying with the...

Welded up my first piece. Catch can

I know that you may want to eventually leave the welds untouched on a part you fab, but until you get those flat, even welds that look so sweet, you should take a sanding/flapper disc to those welds to smooth them out. Any low spots could then be re-leveled with a little more weld, and sanded...
