1990-92.5 are the same rods. All are 6-bolt. They simply call them 90 big rods to keep it simple. They also call 2G pistons 95 pistons on occasion. I don't know about the quality of the NPR pistons, but stock Mitsu 2G pistons are pretty strong and should easily meet your tuning goals. If you...
Almost a shame to tear apart a 92 Laser AWD. Kind of a rare car. But I think an auto drag car will keep it clean and off the streets that tear up these cars.
The internet is still a new place for image rights. If it's on the internet, it's usually fair game to copy and use. You can go through the effort of copyrighting your image to help protect yourself, but that doesn't stop everyone. On the other hand, the companies selling the bumper can state...
Not to contradict you, but the body work does not say 97 Talon. The 97 had the high mount rear spoiler and a body stripe down the side that led to the rear bumper line. This looks like a 95-96.
While you're at it and waiting for parts or machine work, clean up the wiring harness. I've always hated how messy the engine bay looks with all those loose wires.
Do you have a paint code to match to other vehicles? That might help to determine if you have a bad batch of paint or if maybe your prep wasn't done right. Were you supposed to lay down a coat of another color before putting this down?
Make sure you get the right axle for the car. I just ordered a turbo axle and got it right the first time. If you have a 92+ transmission, you will need a different axle.
I've noticed a lot more shaved valve covers lately. I guess I'll need to step up to the next level with mine. How easy are these things to crack? Hope that doesn't give away my next idea.
If you're going for all out power, why not weld the wastegate shut? No chance in boost blowing it open or leaking out. The hot pipe and E85 works, so don't anyone count it out. I wouldn't do it for a street car, but for a drag car, go for it.
I finally got my website started. It has tons of issues, but I finally own a piece of cyberspace to call my own. I will mostly be using it to promote my freelance design work, but I will make sure there is a parking space for my cars to reside. If you decide to check it out, give me some...
Thanks for having a look.Yes, there should only be one Red wire on the CAS. However, the ground coming from there is also connected at pins 101 and 106. It's not very clear in my drawing though.Yes, the BW wire going to the MPI Relay, Coil and Power Transistor should also be connected to...
Really? No one has any input? Does this at least look right? I completely eliminated the ISC wiring and have consolidated quite a bit of wiring. I just would like some second opinions before I plug this into my ECU and see if it works
