What is the difference in the short block from the long block (turbo engine)?

I Have some strut tower rust on my eclipse. so i am looking into buying a tig welder. What kind of power or input and output of a tig welder should i get to get a decent one. Also around what price range would that be..Would this be a good one?Specs - Input voltage: 220 volt , 18 amps...

i've been searching and the strut tower rust is a disease for the dsm, right? How much is it to get the thing fixed at a local welding shop? Is it easy for me to do it myself because i have never done welding? If so where can i get the material to replace the rust and what kind of metal would...

i my as well import a skyline r34 and get it registered for less. :p I rather have a car that is hard to find get like a skyline than a 3000gt spyder. just my .02 cents.

well The 6 bolt swapp was done by the guy before me, and i am a dsm newbie so can you help me out. I'll take some pictures this weekend and post them up for better visual.

i have had my 6 bolt swap for sometime now. I can't figure out how to get the speedo to work. I have searched and the 2gen tranny uses an electrical connection while the 1 gen is not. The part where i am comfused is how to get the speedo to work with a 2 gen speedo?? Sorry for my stupid question...

I have a aftermarket kenwood cd player. I can play cds real clear and good. But when i turn in on to the radio all i hear is static and sometimes maybe somemusic ad then it would disappear as though it lost frequency. Can some knowledgeable person help me?
