I know nothing about 1g cars so I cannot say forsure. As far as I know you can remove the TCU and leave the harness in the car with no troubles.On a 2G car the manual and auto ECU are the same.
The firewall is still stamped for the cluch peddle assembly however it is not punched all the way though. You have to get in there and knock the stamping out and grind the hole to accept the clutch master cylinder.

To hook mine up I used a spark plug boot. The end that goes to the coil pack. Just ziptie one end to the sensor and the smaller end insert hose and ziptie again. Been 2 years now no problems.:thumb:
Non intercooled eh? I see power to be had in that baby I have been playing with diesel for years now that engine there is well capible of 400 HP daily driver but the torque will be out of this world!My current diesel setup is running 580 rwhp and just over 1100 lbs of torque.
