Also, you would be losing the 'flex' portion of the stock downpipe, which comes in handy sometimes. The EBAY pipe appears to be 3" and the stock Cat is 2 1/2", I believe. However the cost savings over the dealership might make it worth it if the mounting brackets match up.
Hey, check your timing asap. Sounds like maybe a tooth or two off.I went to a dealer once who tried to charge me $8 for rags and Hand cleaner. I guarantee you that I didn't pay for them to wash their damned hands. Jerks.
He knew that I was jerking his chain. He lives in an apartment (no garage) so we hang out a lot keeping the cars on the road. He is in his mid-twenties and has his act together.
I was on the receiving end. A clown asked me to marry my daughter and I just said no. I told him and her that I wouldn't support it because he had no plan for the future(long story). She agreed, eventually dumped the dude and now is happier than ever with a guy that I like. I told the new...
I hear you. I joined the Air Force 20 years ago to get out of North Carolina. If you aren't happy, try taking trips to different places until you find the one that you like. Then look for a job there and pack up and move. I tried at least 10 different states before choosing Pennsylvania. Or...
I got a cheap underdrive pulley from EBAY and put on my Eclipse. I knew better, but cheap was the operative word. The pulley caused the inside of the NEW belts to glaze over and squeek to high heaven. Look between the ribs of the belts for shiny spots = glazing = squeek.
Almost guaranteed that the shop bent your valves. 2 hours for a water pump replacement would be a challange for anybody. More like 2 days if you take your time and do it right, checking all tensions, clearances, pulleys, etc. along the way. Instead of getting a free head rebuild, you are...
I think that anyone that had an appreciation for what they were getting would gladly put down $7K. However, I do think that such people are far and few between. If I were you, I wouldn't invest the money or time unless I had a buyer waiting on the back end. You could probably make more money...
I replaced my shocks with Tokicos on my Talon and Eclipse and they fit perfectly with no more 'squishy' ride. You might need an alignment if you do the front.
I smoked for 20+ years until I saw my brother lying tits up as a result of smoking. He left 4 little kids without a dad.I quit smoking over 3 years ago and miss it every damned day, but I have 3 kids of my own that are more important.Proper motivation. That's all it takes.
