ok so im having some trouble. i have an evo 3 block that im rebuilding and about to put my new crank in. trouble is the top half of the thrust bearing on the block side wont go in. not even the old one will fit smoothly. the cap side went right in with no trouble. is there a special installment...

can you guys tell me what kind of work will be involved in doing a 6 bolt swap from a 7 bolt. and if i should swap heads or keep the 7 bolt head. and if i do swap to a 6 bolt swap what work is involved with that? im kind of debating if i should or not. never had any problems with my 7 bolt...
yes i am planning on getting cams later...either the 264/272 or straight 272/272...i not worried about using the 6 bolt bottom end...the 7 bolt has done extremely good and would rather keep that...i do have e-85 but not planning on doing the conversion because i dont know where its at which isnt...
should i go higher compression or lower? id like to get as fast as i can go on pump gas and im probably not going to do the cams just yet. i saw some cheaper prices for valves and springs from jackson. are they any good?

hey i just got a new fuel pump from forced performance 225 pump. now i took the stock one out of the sender and tried to put the new one in but the output nipple of the pump that has the black o-ring that goes in the sender is smaller than the stock one and doesnt have a tight fit. how do i fix...
