So the only thing I'm missing is just the long stud / bolt ? Seems like their something else but if that's it then ok .will it still bolt up and work properly with that missing stud ?
yeah the couplers are pretty strong and clamps. no problems here either. I just needed one longer 45 degree coupler only because you have to modify the upper intercooler pipes for a auto but some people got lucky and it work for them but didn't work for me
your right i found a pair this morning on ebay i got lucky just a little chips at the ends of the corners but i took them anyways you can hardly tell should be getting them in a week or so : D
I thought it probably would cost a lot of money to have it done lol .yeah I'm just going to stay with this block it's good to know i wont have any problems with it after it's done. long as it runs smooth and feels healthy I'm happy with that and no overheating.
I'm not sure ...is re sleeving fixing the wall ? this is my 1st rebuild so I don't know much the guy just said it couldn't not be fix and I would need to replace the whole shot block
I brought the block from a friend he said it was standard bore & just had surface rust just needed to be clean up and hot tank ,re honed and decked my plan was to run my OEM piston's with just new rings and arp rod bolts but the machine shop told me the rust was too much and needed to be bore...
Ok thanks guys I guess the person that told me this was just being negative I came along ways my build is almost done the cylinder head is finish and now its just the block I got my pistons and rings today. Monday ill drop them off to the machine shop to finish the block off
