Sweet, love the story. Nice to know there are some other DSM people in the Metro Detroit Area. Car looks great by the way! Now I REALLY wanna get my trans done so I can pull this car out...
Alright. So I know an update has been a long time coming now, but I have been very busy lately with everything. Just finished my finals for my classes last week though, so I have a little bit of time now. Got the dash lights fixed(sort of). Just have it connector on the harness jumped with a...
Ha, I have my mind far from made up. I just like to play devil's advocate. I feel it promotes a better discussion. And as for me doing it myself, I lack the fabrication skills, and even a garage to do any of this in. Just trying to see if I can offer a viable alternative. My FWD 5 speed is...
My thought was that the 4T65E would be more readily available. There was an AWD production version of the 4T65E used in the Buick Rendezvous I think. They can be built to handle power just as well as a 4L60E, and are easier to find than a 4T80E, at least around here. It of course would require a...
Alright guys... Don't kill me for this one. But I was thinking the other day. I know that Buschur has the adapter plate for the GM transmissions to convert to RWD. Has anyone ever thought about doing this with a GM FWD transmission? I know around me at least there are an abundance of shops that...
Got it taken care of. Just have it jumped with a piece of wire currently between the 2 terminals, until I can get an actual terminal jumper. Shouldn't be long. Thanks again

Well, ladies and gents, I got her on the road this Saturday, and oh god is it fun! I had to get it out before the winter hit, so I needed to get it registered and insured. Once that was done, it was time to bleed the clutch master cylinder again, because I suspected it may have been the problem...
I lost the clutch master cylinder nuts while bench bleeding the master cylinder, the ones that mount it to the firewall. Went to put it back on, and dropped both of them somewhere in the engine bay I can't find. Need to know the pitch of the threads and size of the nuts so I can buy new ones.
Alright, figured I'd update you guys who have been helping me out so much with all my questions on here. So, I bought the car from my cousin who built it in Colorado while he was stationed there. Have had it since June of 2016. Never owned a turbo car before, and never owned an import either...
