Wow this was a old thread to see pop up in my email.
To answer you though yes it did fix the issue. I did recheck Fuel and needed a few tweaks nothing major mainly in the lower RPM . It did happen Maybe 1 or 2 times a year but just barley touched the knob to adjust and was fine. Guessing bumps...
So I installed a Walbro 255hp and at the same time installed Aeromotive FPR . I set base at 43 psi and it sits at 34 psi at idle. Every since I installed these I got a cel for running rich and I am badly. I'm getting 220 miles to a tank with some playing of course but I had 1 of these years back...
Can anyone tell me all the gaskets on the timing belt side that can leak oil?I replaced the timing belt 2g 7 bolt then leak at crank seal replaced and now the cam seals started so I figured I would replace them all l. Just bought this 97 Gst it has 144000 miles on it. Yes I did the WP with...
I will run a wire to the rear from the alternator for the future kill switch and just disconnect the stock wire from alternator at that time. What is the purpose of having a 150amp breaker and a 150amp anl fuse on the alternator wire going back? Would 1 or the other be fine?
I have searched and have not found the answer I have been looking for.
I would like to move the battery to the rear and have seen tons of wiring diagrams but was curious if it can be done easier. Can I go " Battery to 200 amp breader to distribution block under hood and just hook up the 3...
So I hate when people don't post back on what they did to fix things so I will give my fix to this situation. Hopefully it's good if not let me know to anyone that has been through this b4.The control arm I am talking about is number 40320AL in the pic. The curved 1. Drivers side . The short...
What did you have to do with the front mount to get it to line up? I got the sides and rear in with some prying and man handling. The front mount is a whole bolt size to far back and a 1/4" to the left looking at the motor. The front mount also sit's about 5/8" higher had to jack the motor up to...
What did u pry on to get the front mount bracket to work? I just got done putting the other 3 in and that was a project.... They were tight but doable the front is off by a whole bolt size and I had to jack the engine up 3/4" to just to get the bolt through the carrier and new mount. I can't...
Ya ya I don't want anyone posting don't use them and I didn't use them etc etc.I only want to hear from people who actually used them . How many miles you have on them. What kind of driving you do what kind of struts you have and how did they hold up to the poly bushings installed in the top...
Also I see you use the prokit on your gst. What did u do to your bumpstops? I read the post you linked during a search I did. I had a 98 gst 10yrs ago I sold when I got married. I ran AGX and prokit cut bumps and it felt and rode fine then. It was my DD back then.
So with the poly bushings on just the mount the car will be more stiff but wear the strut out faster? This will not cause a dangerous situation but more of a $ issue on struts? What if i just leave the lower poly mount bushing in and take out the upper poly mount bushing and install a new stock...
I'm really confused on how the bushings for the strut rod to the top Mount can cause binding and bend the rod.
I didn't use the lower bushing that the fork would attach to cause I can see this causing a issue. I am not doubting you but am trying to understand this. If the softer bushings allow...
I searched and couldn't find anything when installing Ebaich pro Kit on the Koni yellow rear struts I noticed there's a half inch play after tightening everything down. I called Koni and asked if I had to move the C clip to the upper location and was told that the lower location was where it was...
