I'm thinking that too.. Because the first time I took out the pump to upgrade (by the time I took everything apart to install the new one, I realized I had the wrong pump) and put it back together, I was having that same problem but I could feel more of the surge/bog/stutter...plus the car...
After installing my Walbro 190, my car kinda "bogs" at WOT at about 14-15psi. It no longer feels smooth throughout the entire rpm range. It feels a little lumpy. I let off the gas right when I feel it because I don't want to risk anything. Is it that I'm not getting enough fuel? My light show...
eBay Motors: TURBOCHARGER GASKET SET Eclipse 92 91 90 - Mitsubishi D (item 270297934856 end time Nov-11-08 20:39:01 PST)would this be sufficient for a complete turbo install (gasket wise)?
I just got a datalogger from ebay and everytime I plug the cable into the ECU, the speedometer gets disabled for some reason. I unplug it, everything's cool. Anybody else ever have this problem? What do you guys think? Thanks!
When I first got my timing belt changed, this mechanic who never worked on a DSM messed it up. He was off a couple teeth and kept cranking it. Never got it to start. . so I got another mechanic to get it to start, sure enough he did. He told me that the teeth were off and said it was very close...
So my vacuum has been -10inches since my timing belt change. After a couple boost leak tests (one by me, another by shop), my mechanic says the leak may be coming from the valves which may be bent. He quoted me $700 for new valves, head gasket, 3 angle valve job, and will even throw in a set of...
but if it was a TRUE leak wouldn't it be doing this ALL the time.. earlier i got on it it was fine.. stayed at 14psi to redline... What's weird also is I had a coolant leak for a few days... thought I found where the leak was (oil cooling tube), bought the part, and all of a sudden the leak...
Not sure if this is a boost leak, vacuum leak, or bov issue. When I go WOT, my Greddy RS bov blows off by itself (not fully) and boost drops maybe 2-3psi after it hits 14psi (which is where my MBC is set to) without me letting go of the gas. What could this be? What should the vacuum read during...
