I found this on the BRZ forums. It explains how to scale a map sensor. This was the info i was asking about. Thanks to BastardDsm's post for pointing me in the correct direction.
I still haven't got the new map to fire up the car on the new settings, still got some figuring to do, or the sensor...
I bought a Clean Injection 4 bar MAP sensor to try out. AEM style MAP with SS 1/8NPT connection.
It came with a data sheet to help configure it in link.
I can't wrap my head around what to input into the link tabs.PSIa Range Voltage range

My 4g63t van is my semi daily. I also have a truck for the other days. And the Talon is for nice days.
I find my daily driven 4g63 van runs better than my Talon, due to my need for it to be a reliable mode of transportation(with 26 psi of boost).
I would say dip stick blowing out and oil spraying is a sign of crank case pressure.
Bad rings cause crank case pressure.
I would think your turbo is okay and your block or PCV system needs attention.
just my 2 cents.
The Maf does not know which way down is. How the maf is installed is not the #1 problem. Maybe problem #8.
Yes you should hook your BOV back to your intake pipe.
PCV stands for positive crankcase pressure valve.
Air pressure moves through the ring end gaps as the pistons compresses.
This air needs to be removed from the crankcase or you will pressurize the crankcase, causing oil leaks when seals blow out, or dip stick tube oil bubbles out.
The PCV valve...
I don't see a pcv valve in the pictures.
You gotta get it back to oem "stock" and it should work like oem "stock".
That catch can setup is a little bit bling, but it's not set up correctly and you may not even need it.
You should have a pcv valve. Search how to build a functional dsm pcv system...
It sucks that we look forward to driving on nice sunny hot days, just to be assaulted by the hot sun and air of the nice sunny hot day.(high iat's, timing curve drop, hot engine bay, hot rad fan, hot interior and hotter engine bay if the AC is on(timing curve drop due to ac as well.))

1g drivers cockpit interior is awesome. Fighter jet styling, boost gauge, buttons with performance red outlines(Doug loved it), flip up light switch is like hitting the missle laucher, slanted ass vents, etc. Car is designed for the driver only. The passenger seat is only there for giving...
Yes I agree AWD was what you need against an AWD lambourgini. And rally tires.
His colt is probably a great little street car, but was not setup for who he was against at the end.
I really didn't think the show was very well thought out.
The guy that won didn't even own his car???
