Yes, the premium is a direct connect and it does work. Even if you had the simple Radio/Tape setup, the Premium factory system will work perfectly!

Got it down. Looks like the previous owner had an alarm that I never noticed. They riped it out. 1 new wiring harness later...my car works fine.

Well then, I guess I'll bel re-posting when I find out ;) BTW, my speaker's surrounds are totally gone...the cone is just floating in the basket. I guess I'll be replacing them. (The speakers, not the surrounds.)

You're best subs would be some 12w3's or a pair of DB+ from Kenwood. Alpines are all looks and Crossfires are not worth their price. IMO.
