would also like to mention the 88 ohms of resistance on red and black at ecu to red and black at data link connector was measured with battery and ecu removed from car. red and black wire definetley has a issue to be sorted out. thanks again

yes, my mistake in the original post, solid blue is 12volt power to ciggerette lighter. check this out, on pink wire in obd2 to pink wire in ecu i poke my test leads in there, DVM beeps and shows half a ohm of resistance. ok, thats normal, poke test lead into red and black at data link and than...

^agreed, if you wanna be sneaky and have a turbo "rear mount" style, ok, no problem, but the charge air pipe to bring the boost up to the engine will be retarded. a sandwhich plate on the oil filter housing will be needed to run oil (or maybe a T off the factory oil dumby light sensor location)...
