Okay I just ran a compression test and got 150psi on all four this is pretty low if I'm, correct right?

So I noticed that my spark plugs had some oil in the the spark plug boot area but when I removed them they had oil on the threads . all this with the oil consumption I have all points to bad piston rings but here where it gets interesting the car runs perfectly and has no smoke or very little...

Yup so just a 64 crank in a 2.0 block sorry about the confusion man

That is a 4g64 crank so I would imagine it's a 2.4 block out of a spyder so more than likely is a 2.3 If it has a 4g63 head on it

The sounds gone now starts and runs amazing just feels like it's a little down on power from the leak

Ok I did the timing and it seems to have helped but there is also a exhaust leak at the flex pipe so I'll do that next

Tension seems a little loose and now that I think about it I didn't change the hydrologic Tensioner when I did my timing job so I think I'll just re do my all my timing stuff and see how it helps thanks

So my 2g spyder has had this sound for awhile and I cont pinpoint what it could be its coming from the right side of the engine bay but the car runs perfectly, just looking for some help or input as I try and track it down

I would run a boost leak test just to rule that out as a factor

So the transmission fluid is due to be changed so I got this one from STM tuned but see alot of people saying use atf+4 just wanted to make sure its the right one, i know its a newbie question but thanks anyway

Sounds like a your getting a shotty ground somewhere or somewhere i would go check all your grounding points for corrosion or some other reason why there not making a good connection
