So I thought it was the oil sending sensor cause I have the turbo feed line coming from there but I made sure it was on extra tight and it is also dry. I do have a NVT-350, I did open the transmission to fix the speedometer sensor plastic gear that came loose. I pretty sure I used enough...
So I used a borescope to see if the input seal was leaking and it is dry in the bell housing. Also nothing is leaking from my axle seals. I tightened down all the bell housing bolts again cause maybe it has to do with that. Anything else it could possibly be?im going to monitor it over the...
Hey everyone,I have a small leak of oil and transmission fluid in the exact same spot in my garage from my 1999 Eclipse GS. It seems to be coming from the bell housing/ plate that covers the flywheel at the bottom of the transmission. At first I thought it was the rear main seal because of the...
Ok so I took the manifold off. I am using a composite gasket and not a multilayer one because I heard those have some issues. I also applied some JB Weld extra heat paste to seal the manifold and as of yesterday and today I haven’t had any issues with my afr readings. So as of right now it is...
I used the JB weld high heat paste all the way around the manifold cause I believe I have a small leak there even though all the bolts are tight. I will see if that will help.
Hey everyone,My Eclipse is running rich after 5-10 mins of driving. Car idles and runs great until it starts running rich. Car starts right up and idles at 14.7 afr, driving around it hovers around 14.2 afr unless I accelerate or decelerate of course. Under boost it drops to 10-11 and on...
So I did that and it didn’t crank. This is a new starter so I also have my old one. I had 12v to the main post, had it grounded and had a jumper cable from the 12v to the s connector. The starter worked like that.
So I went and used the signal wire instead of the jumper cable from the starter...
I have seen all the posts with the starter relay and jumping it. I have also seen the one on the clutch switch. I don’t think I have any issue with those since I am getting a 12v+ signal to the wire that connects to the starter. So when I take the wire off the starter it gets 12v with the key on...
Thanks guys for the responses! So my issue lies right at the starter. When I test the signal wire from the starter relay it works perfect right at 12.05v, when I push in the clutch like it is supposed to. But when I put that same wire actually on the starter and try to start with the clutch...
Hey everyone,so I rebuilt my 420a dropped the engine back in the car and am trying to prime everything with oil before I start it. The issue I’m having is power to the starter solenoid from the starter switch. When the clutch is pushed it sends 12v to the solenoid telling it it’s good to...
Have some used RC 550’s that will work in a 4g63. They do work and have been cleaned I’m going a different route with my build. If you have any questions or need more information let me know!I use PayPal for all my transactions and will give a tracking number if purchased.
Yes getting voltage through the wire that connects to the solenoid when the ignition is on and the clutch is pushed in but the starter would not kick on. Once it was out of the car it worked as it should.... not sure what is going on
