It holds pressure just fine. Had it on the dyno a couple weeks ago. Haven't leaked yet from the cover. The paint looks good in person as well I think they have alot more options now. Something like 13 colors.
Update on the oil leak. Got all my timing covers pulled and 4 of my oil pump bolts were not torqued at all. One was practically hand tightened. I got some RTV on the 2 long bolts and torqued everything down.I'm not sure why these bolts were touched in the first place and by who. But I believe...
The center bore is 3mm too small I think. You can always run mustang rims if you want something that looks clean. There are a plethora of them out there. I'm running the 2013 club of america editions that came on the shelby mustangs of that era.
It seems they just didn't like the way the pipes sat. It could have also been me poorly installing it :idontknow:I also have a JMF atmospheric dump off the wastegate that makes it a tight area to work with on the turbo side.
Got my car back from English Racing today. On the 3rd pull an oil gasket on the timing belt side blew and sprayed oil at full boost.I will get this fixed when the parts arrive from extremepsiAll good news here though minus that. They fixed some minor bugs. They voiced their gripes with VRSF...
Thanks again y'all! It was the 44mm I needed. Wastegate is on and my car is officially ready for the dyno. But I missed my appointment by a day and English is incredibly busy so won't be until April 20th to get my dyno day
Installed mine! I have a chiral set... They look great. I would recommend double sided molding tape to secure them to the bumper so that they sit snug. I tried glue first and it didn't hold very well.
Alright got it on and I'm glad I tucked it under the bumper because I never realized how much I hate the look of air dams until I installed it on my car.Install was easy enough bought 90 degree aluminum brackets from hardware store and riveted it on. I bought black plastic rivets to make it a...
Thanks guys... Boy do I feel like an idiot, I guess I will attempt to rush order a 44mm MVR from one of our vendors. Hopefully it can get here by Monday. Extreme PSI is pretty good about returns so I have no issue with that... This is literally the last thing I need to finish my setup and...
Alright so I just bought a Tial MVS 38 mm wastegate to clamp on to my o2 housing, when I went to go clamp the wastegate to the o2 housing I realized that the 02 housing was a larger diameter than my wastegate.I am fairly certain I have a JMF open circulation o2 housing, but am unsure as I...
That's unfortunate. Whenever I sell bits and bobs off my car I always try to include the bolts and couplers when feasible. So you just have hard piping and nothing else? The hard pipe is 2.5" if I recall correctly. There are 2 straight couplers on intake side. and 1 short 90 on exit side. Then...
It looks that way to me too. I took a paint pen and set my dremel speed to as low as it would go and trimmed off some of the inside mouth(?) Until it sat flush with my intercooler. Surprisingly it only took 2 tries.I also absolutely did not trust hanging the intercooler on stock fog light bolt...
The only thing I can add since all y'all covered it well is if you are super concerned about over tightening bolts is pick up a set of metric hollow end screwdivers and use them. They are like $9 at harbor freightI would get all bolts threaded before tightening. And although not necessary you...
