General Who logs with pocket logger still?

I have barely driven my colts this summer. Still have pocketlogger. The hardest part was getting a palm pilot to sync with my pc (windows 10). After I had the cable and serial number sorted out, there are members, including myself now, that have the pocketlogger software. Once the car was...

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

Pocket logger is up and running. Got the car on the dyno. Motor is just under 1000km broken in. Dialed in boost to 16psi, tuned with AFC and wideband. It's a comfortable 275hp. It was no big deal not having link, the tuner said for my goal and setup ecmlink is not necessary. I'm surprised my...

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

Good point. Didn't think that would work.Well I'm all set up anyhow. At least I know the old equipment still works. Now time to book dyno. Wideband installed too. Should I bother with my old egt? Thanks to all who helped.

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

Will the mmcd software work with the pocketlogger cable from digitaltuning??I guess i will try it.Mike Montalvo has replied to my email!! I have been able to find my old email printout, which has the registration code, cable serial number and my hotsync username to use. I have been able...

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

Hey brother, I will gladly take the files from pocketlogger. I got two of my old palms to work, hotsync works, and I even found an old printout of my original email from pocketlogger. Man I am getting old, maybe just dsm old, too many parts hoarded. So I emailed digital tuning, lets see if...

    1G block/head rebuild, recommendations wanted

I'm in the same boat. Block and head at machine shop for a rebuild. 3-400hp is plenty for my 2450lb Colt, which is fwd. My other Colt is 299hp with e316g @19psi. Stock old tired motor with BC cams link v3 and 750fic and stock fuel system. Wheel spin galore. I'm also debating piston rod choice. I...

1G Idle Surge (up & down)

Take a look at your engine temp sensor and connectors. Like an another member mentioned, ensure the coolant lines are still connected to the throttle body. Has the ECU ever been inspected?

1G Idle Surge (up & down)

How long have you owned the car? What is the history with the car in regards to recent work done. Did it used to idle welll? Check injectors seals, Throttle body shaft seals and biss screw and seal. Has TB been installed correctly? Meaning throttle plate adjustment, tps adjustment and TPS closed...

    1G Hta68 or E316g

So like I gathered from having read countless older thread, the advantage of the hta68 is when running higher boost than what I am planning on. If I were to improve the intake side (larger tb , intake imanifold , head work), then the HTA68 would be the way to go. The car is driven rarely and...

    1G Hta68 or E316g

Im happy with the 16g. It came with the donor car I bought for the swap. I figure since I'm buying new, to look at what is available for simple bolt on. Considering v2.

    Lowering a 4wd colt vista

You won't get much of an answer here. That car is super rare. You might want to try over at www.4g61t.org Post up there. You might be able to get a set of coil overs to work up front. What type of suspension is in the rear?

    1G 90 TB FIAV

I'm trying to figure out why recently my idle vac went from 14in to less than 10. The most recent change was a rad change. After a blt and a compression test(140s when cold, 150ish when hot.) No leaks .I figured to change the isc to a new 91 ISC which I have as spare. Motor is 6 bolt , stock...

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

May be old and 40. I can't entertain the idea of going pocket logger after having ECM link. I just searched for digital tuning. Com and they are done. I no longer have the software. So not sure how I even would get the software for the pocket logger. I don't have a wideband. Might just buy one...

General Who logs with pocket logger still?

Once upon a time from 2002 to 2008 I used to log with pocket logger and a Palm pilot. Fuel controlled with hks super afr. My palm pilots are dead now. Other than ecmlink, is there no other way to log? I have link in one car, but don't want to buy another ecmlink for my second car. My other car...
