If you are running your wastegate off your o2 housing check to make sure your o2 housing bolts are tight.

Brake boost on the stock converter depending on your set up you should be able to build boost on the line. On a 16g the stock converter works great, when you get into larger turbo set ups is when you would need to think about getting an upgraded converter.

+1 to boost/vacuum leak also as stated above check plugs and wires. Also make sure your Wastegate is functioning properly.

Running a MAF will make it easier, I say go for ECMLINK but you can't go wrong with Jackal either.

As said by others you are gonna need to get bigger injectors, a wideband, and a way to tune before you turn up the boost, this is also assuming you have a boost controller.

Check the wastegate arm. Check to see if you blew off a coupler. If none of those work try a full boost leak test.
