I want to find a place that sells the schedule ten pip fittings like vibrant for manifolds. Cheapest I have found for a 90* butt fitting is like 13 bucks... That makes using these fittings not cheap to make a manifold.
I didn't see this mentioned yet but. Youtube is your friend. There is a how to video for just about everything. including mind numbing long detailed welding videos.... I watch them all the time. LOL

Thought my custom upper pipe would help some people. The tial bov is on the bottom facing the ground to get it out of the way of stuff.I have the kinetic race core. Or what ever the SBR race core is.

Again this is a first log ever. So tuning is not really right on. Nor did I have the actuator shimmed super good. I also think the avcr helps a bit now. And there might be some tire spinning going on.

qtp cut outI was seeing about high 40 lbs/min with the 6031 pte. Most of the logs with the vgt are like 50lbs/min then that one high spot of 57. But my problem now is knock. It might spool fast enough to get super high...
at 28 psi this thing made 57lbs a min at 8k or so via dsmlink and calibrated gm maf. Its on the dsmlink forums inNew holset vgt variable vein thread i made a long time ago. In the misc tech section.
Taking this thing apart is super easy to clean.i will try and remember.take the C cover off and the T housing. 7/16 v band clamps then they fall off.
Take the shaft nut off.
pull off the wheel.
slide out the turbine wheel with the shaft
then 3 allen screws hold on the cover behind...
So i bought a hx35. Everybody is out of bep housings. So I have a few questions. If i make a manifold thats divided for the stock 12cm^2 housing would it spool as fast as the bep one. Also I have a mitsu flanged housing that i could just put a t3 flange on. Slower spool but the mani is made and...
