I just picked up an SM AFR and am a little confused as to where I should splice into the ignition for power. I removed the steering column shroud but was unable to determine where to splice in. Can I run the supplied wires through the firewall and connect to ignition in the engine bay somewhere...
I need to replace the rear quarters (as well as the rocker panels) on my 1990 Talon and would like to know if anyone has bought the panels fron JNZ. They appear to be the entire panel and I would like to know if this would be an "easier" method rather than cut-out and fabricate a new piece to...
Thanks for the info. The axle is very loose. Would this cause a hesitation in forward movement ( mostly 1st and 2nd gear)? Is there anything else I should replace while I am at it?Thanks
Pics are not the greatest, but can someone please identify the control arm (or is this the front axle) being pointed at. It is the front drivers side arm that goes into the rotor housing. When turned, the wheel grinds quite badly so I am quite sure the whole arm needs to be replaced.All...
I was installing a Walbro 190 today and over-tightened the pos. terminal nut on the pump itself (snapped the bolt off). I was able to solder the wire (with ring terminal) to the pos. post but I can't help worrying if this is sufficient inside the tank. Can anyone give me some insight please...
cas (cam angle sensor). I bought the ecu socketed along with DSMlink from FFWD for approx. $800 but you can purchase the ecu seperately. If you take out the ecu you may be able to tell if the caps needs replacing. Here is a link on how to do this

lilkoreanboy;I had similar symptoms that I tried to rectify with new plugs, wires and cas. After reaching my wits end I replaced my ecu and that solved my problem. Just something to consider.Good luck.
Can anyone let me know if a small pinhole in a FMIC will effect performance a great deal?.
I plan on running a EVOIII 16g with no more than 20lbs boost and would like to know if the FMIC would handle this. The IC is rated at 655 cfm and has a 25 x 7 x 2.8 core. Thanks for the info.
I had a similar sound coming from my car a few years ago. It ended up being a cracked exhaust manifold and 3 broken ex. man. studs causing a large boost leak.
This is a brokerage charge used by UPS. Very expensive. Try to have items mailed from the U.S. via USPS then you pay a flat rate of approx. $5 cdn + taxes. Some vendors use only UPS so shop around.
