Thank you for the welcome and i will take your advice and check those i should add that thier is not other shifting issues but the shifter does move alot when letting off and on the gas could a broken motor mount couse it to jimp out of 5th like that the whole motor rocking

ok now that the trim debate is out of the way any suggestions on the tranny issue 1999 eclipse rs 5 speed keeps jumping out of 5th gear I removed the end cover and their is no 32mm nuts their it is two snap rings and bearings any idea what is causing this and what do I need to do to fix it.

well upon doing some research it is an rs model so yes it is a 420a non turbo when I did the profile I did not see anything but gsx and gs options I did not see the rs option

well the pictures are of the car im not sure what it is im new to eclipse I would imagine it is a 420a if you say it is it says noting on the car everything has been removed I just got the car 6 days ago trust me you now more about it than I do lol
