  1. no boost after installing new head

I did a compression test. It was around 155 on three except cylinder 1 was 170. IDK if its ok for it to be that high when the others are low.
  2. no boost after installing new head

Could it have been from overtorqing the head studs? I had ARP head bolts and I torqued them down to 100FT LBS.
  3. no boost after installing new head

I have a 1g sensor. I have a 6bolt. And I aligned the little marks on the inside of the sensor and the car starts and runs but doesnt boost hard.
  4. no boost after installing new head

I'm thinking its the cas timing because I never set it correctly. Could that be a cause? I don't have a datalogger or that type scanner so I havnt been able to set it.
  5. no boost after installing new head

Idk how to do a boost leak test or leak down test. And I torque the Arp head studs down to 90 ft lbs. From 30-60-90 in sequence. And the cat runs great. and also I was wrong it boosts but it seems very weak. and has a very weak blow off compared to what is used to be.
  6. no boost after installing new head

I had bent valves on my original head from jumped timing. So i replaced the head with a used one. After everything the turbo would boost very weak. The boost guage would lag before it goes up and its so weak. And also im blowing white smoke out the exhaust. Compression is good. No shaft play...

  9. throttle cable acting wierd, gas pedal floppy

problem fixed. I just had the bracket the bolts to the manifold on the wrong two holes. I moved it over one and its good.
  10. throttle cable acting wierd, gas pedal floppy

The problem is definitley in the black box. Its not as if it sticks really. it just stays there like the spring that makes it retract is broken or something.
  11. throttle cable acting wierd, gas pedal floppy

Yes the black box on the firewall that the pedal cable goes through and then goes to the throttle body. I opened it up and its connected but when I pull the cable at the TB, the wheel that the pedal cable is on inside the box sticks and you have to pull it to get tension at the TB again.I...
  12. throttle cable acting wierd, gas pedal floppy

yea the throttle body is fine and the cable is hooked up good on there but its the pedal thats floppy .
  13. throttle cable acting wierd, gas pedal floppy

My gas pedal is floppy and doesnt open the throttle until its an inch off the floor. I has something to do with that little black box that the throttle cable goes through. Is there any way to fix it or do i have to get a new "black box".
  14. replaced head and no start

I dont have AC in my car though. The compressor and condensor were removed. Only the lines were there. And yes I have a 1g cas.
