  1. More Problems, Electrical Now

I was trying to hook my battery up tonight after reinstalling my throttle body. The first problem was the positive battery cable wouldn't fit over the terminal no matter how hard I tried. I was finally able to get it on halfway. Then I hooked up the negative cable and it sparked and that was...
  2. Flat Tire Question

I recently got a flat tire and need to get the tire replaced because it can't be patched. My tires have about 50% life left can I just replace the one or do I need to replace all 4?
  3. Ordered a Buschur Stage 3 block&head-David said to make 500HP would take...

I agree, 30+ PSI should not be any problem. Just make sure you tune it well and you'll be fine on C16, may need to watch out with 112 octane or less if you mix it at 30+.
  4. dsmchips knocksum reading accurate?

Try turning the boost down and then leaning it out more since you are still quite rich. 11.5:1 is pretty safe for the street and you're under 10:1. If you can get no knock with a good A/F then try turning the boost up until you start knocking.
  5. GM MAF before air filter?

I'm sure he typed the topic wrong since I don't even see how it would be possible to put the MAF before the air filter.
  6. slip fit good or bad?

    Slip fit is fine.
  7. Bolt On AFPR worth it?

I have one, sort of. The adjustment bolt on mine stripped out the regulator because the nut they included was the wrong size so instead of the nut moving the whole stud turned and stripped the aluminum. I'm at school so I won't be able to fix it until May. This type of regulator won't break...
  8. can i install turbo, manifold, and o2 housing at same time?

Yes you can if you remove the radiator, didn't try with it in. Only tough part is unbolting things when you have it removed but you could probably do it in a vice.Installing things is the same but make sure you attach the oil lines and water hard lines to the turbo.
  9. Full Throttle AFPR

The problem I had was the nut was actually the wrong size for the bolt on the regulator, at the store I found the correct size. Too bad I found out after I stripped the hole. I tried JB Weld but failed because I either misaligned the hole or broke the nut off tightening the bolt down. If I...
  10. Full Throttle AFPR

What if I JB Welded a nut on top of the regulator, then used a bolt? Do you think the bolt would back out over time?
  11. Full Throttle AFPR

Well pushing down with a screwdriver does change the fuel pressure. I'm waiting on an email from Full Throttle to see if I can tap the hole again or not.
  12. Full Throttle AFPR

After finally getting this piece of junk installed (fuel return line doesn't fit over the fitting), I start my car and go to adjust fuel pressure. Oops bolt turns and doesn't do anything. Look and see that the hole the bolt goes in is stripped so the regulator is worthless. Can I retap the...
  13. FP Guage

For a underhood fuel pressure gauge mounted on an AFPR should I run a liquid filled guage or is any gauge fine? My Full Throttle AFPR is waiting for me to come home for spring break so I need to order a guage for it.
  14. My first log

You need to adjust your throttle cable or TPS because you are not at 100% throttle.
  15. When is it 2 late?

Not too late assuming the car is in good shape. You probably want to check out the N/T Performance Section.
