I am going to replace BOTH the crank position sensor and the alt. Better safe than sorry

You guys have a parts number for that alt?

I will just need the alt and the fuse if i go that route? Why a galant alt over one for the gsx?

The power levels has never dropped and engine power has stayed constantly normal. Idle is rough and the blinking. She has also started overheating....which might be unrelated...not sure.Alternator would cauae that? My last car...who alternator went bad...wouldnt stay charged and would lost...

Not only am i having the same problem, not only have i tried all the same things, but i just bought a 97 gsx. This is forcing me to pull the battery when i park just so it doesnt drain ...

Thanks everyone. The crackk IS sad... But im so happy to have one im not even tripping. The only surprise so far was a head light out which ive already fixed. The coil pack might be bad but after reading symptoms, ive seen nothing.Ive gotten all kinds of looks and so guy in a Q35 told ME nice...

Ok....so if i buy auto... Worry free tranny... But bored to tears driving it...If i buy stick... Fun drive... Will have to deal with crankwalk...clutch replacing... And upgrades if i go more power.Right?
