  1. Bring my 95 gsx back to life!

First off, you need to find out why he was tearing the car down. Then go from there. It could of been nothing, and you said yourself he didn't know what he was doing. The crankwalk issue that was brought up in the above post is not that common, so don't let that scare you. I've personally had 2...
  2. AWD LSD swap

I believe that the auto rear diff has a different gear ratio then the manual rear diff. there for you would not be able to interchange the two.
  3. Do i have a 6 bolt or 7 bolt?

You can also tell by the shape of the oil pan whether its a 6 bolt or 7 bolt. In 92.5 diamond star went from 6 bolt to 7 bolt engines, i believe in august but don't get me lying. There is also no difference in the rod bearing sizes, but there is a difference of 1mm in the wrist pin sizes.
  4. Burn It!

He was referring to a diesel pickup with the fuel turned up. That how bad his car smokes under boost.
  5. Leaking fluid help!

That is power steering fluid leaking on the power steering pump. The mess on the transmission and on the turbo/front of the block is antifreeze. Go to the local carwash, let the engine cool off and power wash everything. Make sure you take the air filter off and stuff a rag in the intake tube or...
  6. very low oil pressure.

The oil sending unit could be going bad or the wire that connects to it is barely hanging on.
  7. Lite grinding from between engine/transmission

my Gs-t did the same thing and it ended up being the flywheel bolts backing off.
  8. very low oil pressure.

Are you running a mechanical gauge or going off the stocker?
  9. K&N HP-1005 Question

Yes that is a 3000 gt vr4 oil filter. A lot of people use that oil filter for better filtering lol, and some say it helps stop the infamous lifter tick that the 4g63's seem to have a problem with.
  10. fresh fmic install, all new piping and bov. now overheating when idles. and stalls

Sorry I see that now. The coolant temp switch going out will cause the engine to start running bad and also cause your rad fans not to cycle. In turn making your car overheat and boil coolant all over the place. Or your ac fan fuse is blown. Turn on your ac inside the car and see if the fans...
  11. fresh fmic install, all new piping and bov. now overheating when idles. and stalls

Recirculate the blow off valve back into the intake if it isn't already. The coolant temp switch could be bad causing the fans not to come on, and also causing the car to run poorly.
  12. ecu problem or what?? Help

yeah i didn't see the video before i posted lol. good luck with the car
  13. ecu problem or what?? Help

A bad mass air flow sensor will also make it do what your describing.
  14. Starting issues - No / Doesn't / Won't Start - MERGED

check the power transistor plug to make sure it is completely plugged in. I had the same problem to find out the power transistor was not completely plugged in.
  15. 1G Ignition Transistor location

Sounds like cam or crank position sensor is bad.
