Does anybody have any idea on how to remove the ignition switch module, its held on by two threaded bolts with no head that hold the module around the steering column.
Just got done fixing some boost leaks and i was wondering if i missed any and if i could tell by the vacuum of the boost gauge, i have the greddy and my gauge at idle sits about half a mark to the left of the 500, let me know where its supposed to set at idle, i heard its supposed to be at...
Really want to pick up some Rota Slipstreams with Hoosier slicks on them but had a couple question, I know Rota offers a 15x8 option, will the 15 inch wheel clear aftermarket drag brakes? And also what kinda offset am I going to need? Also, am I going to need to run tubes if this wheel tire...
Wish you lived closer, I have one in perfect condition that I won't be using as i'm fabbing a tubular one up, and I would have traded you straight up for your cracked one. If you're going to be in the GA area soon you can have it.
Alright so i'm pretty sure i'm going to take this car to another level and go with a 4 link competition engineering frame kit and run another rear end, probably a dana, but stay AWD. My question is how would I go about matching up the gear ratios so I wouldn't destroy the tranny, transfer case...
Been trying to do some research on dsmtuners and dsmtalk and on some other local forums but never really found anything. What would be my best option for the suspension on the 1g? I'm not completely biased against going with JIC's or hotbits but do I really need all the adjustability for just...
Its not that, I just think its ridulous to pay $450 dollars for aluminum subframe bushings that can be had for a handful of other cars (240sx, bmw's, etc.) for around $100.
Looking for some aluminum subframe bushings, to really stiffen up the chassis for drag racing. Can't fork over the money for shearer subframe bushings. Does anybody else offer them, or is there an alternative that would be as good?
Just purchased some stuff from rockauto. Got some beck arnley tie rods and some boots to for 60 bucks shipped, not to bad. Thanks for the link sbengineering.
Really? I was seeing like 40 bucks a piece for each rod at local auto stores. Which would be like 160 for all 4. Also where do you get extra steering boots? Mine got all ripped up during removal.
