    420A 420a Timing belt tips

    IIf you put that gear on backwards you will have to tap the 3 holes and use bolts on your puller to get it out. Ask me how I know lol. Do it right the first time. FYI get a haynes manual.

    Make sure not to put the crankshaft timing gear on backwards either. It is a nightmare to get off.

    Just be careful with aftermarket cam gears the marks are not the timing marks. Aka fidanza cam gears. I would go to CI Motorsports for modifications type in 420a on there website search engine to fine modifications.

    Its just odd though because when I bought this thing back in 2010 the guy had the stock sending unit. Which I did buy this car in pieces but it shows you dont take things for granted I guess still weird though.

    This post was solved found out by autometer you have to use there sending unit. Which makes me wonder why the guy I purchased this car from still was using the oem temp sending unit. Car is fixed.

    As soon as I start the car the aftermarket autometer gauge will start showing temperature readings that are anywhere from 50 to 70 degrees hotter than what the car is actually at.     No reason to do all of that to keep it stock or a knock off copy cat Chinese brand. Get your parts from the company CI Motorsports and search for 420a parts on there search engine.
