Probably not your issue but you can double check your spark plug cables are routed correctly. I had a similar issue when I routed mine improperly causing misfires.

1ga all the way, the styling of the popup headlights cant be beat. The stock rims are pretty meh on the 1g and the styling of the 2g exterior is really eye catching but something about the 6 bolt and cockpit feel of the 1g is amazing.
