Haven’t experienced it on my dsms but had a wrx that grinded into 2nd so I started double clutching and never had the problem again just my 02 cents I’d look at the cables and slave to make sure it’s all good tho
Just finished the swap I would recommend getting new ss brake lines from rtm they fit super good and look nice plus your gonna need shorter bolts for the rear caliper I think 25mm worked for me couldn’t find this info when I searched good luck it looks so good
Yea +1 I say prime the oil pump rebuilt a few engines while I was working at a shop and they always had me do this with the rebuilds before startup while the motor was out
Not sure but I’ve driven daily with no problems and now the car is for the weekends and starts up fine even after two weeks of sitting the battery is about a year old
