Run a compression test and see what the results are, I had a similar problem with my 1g. It was running fine then just stop running. I had 7 bent valves on the intake side and my timing belt was fine. I had a lifter stick up and push a couple valves into the pistons. I'm still not sure how so...

What about running a shim on the top hat of the drivers side front strut to get some wedge into the car. What kind of camber adjustments can you make? I can remember cruising out to 39th street and Darran driving that car out there with a 16g and a 5 speed. Awesome car kick ass Darran good luck with the 8 sec pass. It's well deserved.
