just a cool little thing i found, i was looking at a mazda millinia with the miller cycle v6 supercharged engine in it, and it has a black top cas in it. the shaft is longer than the ones from a dsm but im sure it could be replaced. has the mitsu logo and everything![/IMG]
op, you could buy a crank kit and repair it but the engines are so easily found and cheap it would just be faster and easier to replace the whole engine. sorry for the bad news!
i would do a boost leak test and also check the iac. the stepper motors over time go bad and cause idle issues. also i would delete the egr if you havent done so already(if your state doesnt have emission laws), the egr causes gunk to build up around the iac and over time will cause the motor to...
