Alright, i finally got that that sucker to break free! I lowered the exhaust and the driveline, pretty sure im ready to take apart the T case, etc. One thing tho, do i have to have both cv axles removed form the vehicle to swap the clutch? Because i only have the passenger side axel removed..

    1G exhaust flange bolts

Good afternoon gents. The last two days ive been attempting to replace my clutch, on my own (no mechanical expertise). Im at the stage of trying to remove the exhaust , so that i am able to remove the driveline, etc. So currently, ive been using nut buster, a torch, and airgun to get at the two...

    1G clutch went out

Hello Mello, thanks for joining in. I'm confused when you say that those are non turbo clutches when it says it is for a turbo vehicle. The bottom of the webpage for the 2 stage daily mentions that it is for a turbo. http://www.southbendclutch.com/ecommerce/K05048-HD-O.cfm?item_id=4125

    1G clutch went out

Thank you Vegas! I must also ask if the TOB for the kit would be up to par, or should I always no matter what stick with getting an OEM TOB for any clutch? I am prepared to order one, no biggie on that.

    1G clutch went out

Hey guys, after looking around at different clutches, I found this South bend clutch that i feel would work well with my stock car, and my budget. Does anyone have opinions on the stage 2 daily? http://www.southbendclutch.com/listings.cfmAnd I was also wondering if it would be overkill to put...

    1G clutch went out

Thank you, yes it is my daily driver and will be for quite awhile so if that is a factor I hadn't considered to mention. If not a "puck" style, what other options are there for me? So I take it that a clutch kit would not include a replacement fork/pivot ball or flywheel ? And that means I...

    1G clutch went out

Thank you all for the quick replies! This is going to be the biggest project ive done on the car. Can anyone explain what the difference between "4 puck and 6 puck"? Or the different types of clutches, for example: sport performance and heavy duty. I should add that I'm on a budget and...

    1G clutch went out

Hi, I need a replacement clutch kit, for a stock 1G that I would like to eventually mod. My time on the internet is limited, so I cannot do a thorough search myself, although I have and have come up kinda empty handed. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

f*** my life. Damn the snow. Can anyone chime in with their 2 cents? It looks replaceable, but I've never had to deal with body damage, so my opinion is moot. Would like to fix this before rust shows up

    Street Build The Praetor

Having fixed the CV axle, the list of problems gets smaller; 1) I need to take care of my rear driver caliper. I hope this solves my brake leak. 2) I have two oil leaks from what I can tell. One of them is the turbo oil return line flange. I have the gaskets and copper crush rings to get it...
