I think ive determined it to be an issue with the tune. Fiddled with some things in the aem software and got the idle to go down normally quite a bit better. Im going to email some of the tuners the po said tuned the car about this.

I did replace the regular slave rod with an extended rod (just to see if the clutch was disengage)
