  1. General Fueltech

I have. And no. You can call FuelTech.” Directly. They will walk you through anything you need. No one here can help. You will learn quickly you should have bought the 550 or 600. Not enough inputs and outputs on the lesser ecus.
  2. Track times (all models) ?

A well running stock awd 2g here will run a 15.3. Not a high 14. The car ran that time like clockwork.my galant ran 15.7-15.8 like clockwork as well. Also running top notch. All at bandimere.
  3. ECMlink Buying DSM link

There is more than one guy who knows AEM. There are a few of us who know the program well.
  4. Bolt on turbo recommendation

The car is in Southern California. Look up on YouTube what the 7670 can actually do. You will be disappointed. We were. We are on the upper edge of what people do with them.I say that and even though it is a full time road race car, the car runs high 10 second and low 11 second quarter miles...
  5. Bolt on turbo recommendation

We made 480whp all in on that turbo. And that was all in at 32psi. That was with a .84 T4 housing. You can expect to see peak torque between 5000-5500. We use a very honest reading Dyno.
  6. ECMlink 1g Knock Sensors

You are only limited to using a knock sensor with a factory ecu. You have no choice but, to have it in the system. It will pull all of the timing to a fixed value(in Dsmlink at least). You cannot run without one(in dsmlink). I know, I have tried to force it.no aftermarket system utilizes a...
  7. ECMlink 1g Knock Sensors

Again, I have been doing this for 23 years. I have built more wiring harnesses from scratch for Mitsubishi’s than you have likely owned.keep your tin foil hat on and let the big boys do their work. If you think knock sensor tuning is the end all, by all means hombre.Spark plugs, experience...
  8. 1G Best source for replacement knock sensor?

Just research. 1999-2005 Mazda Miata MX-5. They only made the car one way. 1.8L.Beck Arnley 158-1039
  9. ECMlink 1g Knock Sensors

I have already done the repair and finished the car. I assure you it is a one pin connector.I know it is working correctly as it responded the way I would expect it to through tuning. They are the exact same sensor. If it is anything like any other Mitsubishi product. They all function the...
  10. 1G Best source for replacement knock sensor?

I just finished tuning a 1989 Right hand drive, Galant VR4 with a 1g Ecmlink V3. I used a 99-05 Miata knock sensor as the factory was one shot and the wire tore. All I did was take the factory connector off the 1G knock sensor and off the Miata sensor and wire it to to the Miata knock sensor...
  11. ECMlink 1g Knock Sensors

The Miata connector only has one pin. I cut each connector off, stripped it back to expose the shielded wire and soldered the old connector to the new sensor.
  12. ECMlink 1g Knock Sensors

  13. 2G FINISHED! 4G64 Sohc w/ 4G63T head

Looking at the dish in the pistons, I highly doubt that. I would not be surprised if the static compression was under 9.5:1. The 8/12 valve motors I can see something odd like that.A normal stock 2.0 here is around 100-130psi depending on condition. 120 is a good round number where they fall...
  14. 2G FINISHED! 4G64 Sohc w/ 4G63T head

There was no need. The pistons had a significant dish in them. He is coming back soon for more cooling upgrades. I can measure it again. I honestly doesn’t mean a thing to me as the motor runs just fine. The numbers it will show won’t be entirely relevant to others anyway as I live at 6000ft...
  15. 2G FINISHED! 4G64 Sohc w/ 4G63T head

Here is one I finished and sent home today. This is a SOHC 16 valve 2.4 with a 4g63 head on it. I am leaving it turned down as I don’t know how much I can trust the pistons and rings from butting together.it is capped at 20psi on a GTX3071. The car normally lives around 30-31psi and made...
