Lol thanks Seth, daps to you for making this happen. So glad I ran across you on FB!! I feel like this combo will be a bolt on monster!!
Machining the housing and rebuilding the 40 are going to run me about $320Shockey I sure will, it will be a month or two till I get it back and installed...
Austin, Ian and James are great guys. Didn't know if this was uncharted territory or not, hence why I asked lol. I saw turboglenn's pics on flicker but didn't know if there was more than meets the eye to this.
I picked up this FP30 .68 A/R housing and I'm wanting to machine it to fit a HX40 can anyone point me in the right direction? I've heard TurboGlenn is the man to talk to.
Dale aka BogusSvo is the man. Like Wil-Own said he knows his stuff and backs his work doesn't get better than that. Speaking of machine work, GET TO WORK DALE I WANT MY MOTOR BACK!!!! Lol jk Dale
^^^^LMAO, in all seriousness I thought it was a joke but.....but sadly enought that wasn't the case. Did you get to the point where he actually drilled holes in the flywheel to "lighten" it? Lol this fail is epic.
I'm pretty sure a few of you have already ran across this but I definitely had to share this for those who have not. This has to be the biggest ass hat ever to exist. This is 72 pages of awesomely goodness. Without further a due enjoy!!!!http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=224101
Ok that makes sense. My motor is 8.5:1 comp and Taylors is a 9:1 comp. I don't mind spending the extra coin if it ensures the best seal possible. Taylor on the other hand isn't so sure he's going to. I'm trying to convince him otherwise though. Not that I'm saying standard ARP's aren't suffice...
