I personally used a carbide bit with an air powered rotary tool, took me about 1 hour to get in the general shape and another 1/2 hour to get it to perfectly fit the gasket.

It's just a hold down on the alternator it should have a bolt with either an 8 mm head or a double sided stud. It bolts down to the alternator itself.

I would love to know too. I've been fighting with my SD tune for like 1 week or so already and every other day it changes up. Not to mention the temperature in the area I am in keeps fluctuating.
