Victor reinz stardard bolts. reusing old washers. I did checked the service manual but no torque is stated on engine section.I'm just rebuilding all the gaskets as the car was a bit leaky for just 90.000 miles.

    1G Head and block maintenance

I am going to have some time week, i will check de arms. It's not all about going cheap. My daily driver is a Volkswagen passat, and you can find non original parts that are original. Mapco and Trw have been suppliers of suspension components in the 90s for Volkswagen Audi group, and so on. As...

Bonjour a tous!Hi everyone,I have removed the engine from the car as I wanted to clean it properly and do a full gasket work. It has been a laborious task about removing all the dirt from the block, it was running for years with a leaking top gasket (that rubber black one on the top case)...

I think the same too... but it's weird. My pickup is the original type, wich is supported by a secondary arm to the block, apart from beeing suported by the two screws to the pump.I have the replacement gasket for the pickup, but I will have to remove again the oil pan. If replacing the gasket...

still no oil... Turning it clockwise.I'm going to remove oil filter to see if perhaps it's the cause as I installed one with internal valve

I did reused old gasket.Sensor wiring of original hasn't been modified or unplugged.I am not very sure honestly to have spotted where that 14 MM bolt is to spin the pump. Are you talking about removing the chain that connects the pump to the crankshaft?
