knock 50-75% after cleaning/oiling air filter.

I just bought a cleaning kit for my specter reusable air filter. After cleaning, oiling and installing it, I'm getting huge amounts of knock (guaged by a Ceddy Mod feature using the stock boost gauge). Before cleaning and oiling it had a very small amount of knock in the same pattern. Sometimes...

    2G Alternator wiring

It's the smaller copper/brass eye hole terminal. I think I read that it is an optional ground but I wanted to make sure, for sure don't want to piss that thing off.

    2G Alternator wiring

Ok so there is two eye hole terminals on the alternator, the big one has the big white wires going to it but what about the small one? The previous owner of the shell hacked the wiring a little bit and I cant find the other wire.

Resolved 98 ecu, 97 engine into 95 body

That's what I thought. I figured this would be about as plug and play as it gets. Thank you.

Resolved 98 ecu, 97 engine into 95 body

I'm swapping my 97 engine with a flashable 98 ecu into my new 95 shell (97 got t boned). What do I need to do with the wiring for the cam angle sensor, injectors or firing order?

    Calling all wrenches. $

I have some work that needs to be done by January 5th, as I'm going to be going back to college after being laid off. Bad news is, is that I was T boned, totaling my Talon. I have found a new shell with blown engine/trans, but it is an automatic. Engines are ready to be pulled and swapped, but I...

    The not so rolling chassis.

Lol I think the crash ####ed me up a bit in the head. I was thinking it would take longer then it really would. All of the parts I need are not damaged so It wont cost much to get it on the road. The only bad part about the car is it's and automatic, so I'll have to do another auto>manual...

    The not so rolling chassis.

I'm going to be buying a talon shell with super low miles 65K and we have run into a problem. The seller has taken the shocks off and one hub. Can 2Gs roll without shocks because 2Gs dont have struts? I'm looking to move this thing a total of 25 feet, up onto a flatbad and off.

Problems with 01 Malibu ignition switch cylinder.

Turned out to be a sticky interlock cable. Thanks for the help!

Problems with 01 Malibu ignition switch cylinder.

I just got done "installing" an ignition switch cylinder on the gfs Malibu. It wont turn all the way to the left so I can't pull the key out and it is now stuck on acc. I put the old one back in and it works just fine. It looks as if there is only one way those things can go it (you have to turn...

    pre turbo meth injection

Isn't there an issue with caviation on the compressor blades, and the possibility of it pooling up in the intercooler?

Just bought secondhand Alky Control Kit, need to source hose.

Yeah somethings going in the trunk at the end of this job and I don't want it to be the battery. Too many safety issues and so much $. No room in my cramped 2g bay.The length of hose that It came with will work for the small ID outlet and there's a lot of it but it's carb fuel hose not fuel...

Just bought secondhand Alky Control Kit, need to source hose.

I recently bought an alky control meth kit and in the box was just regular rubber hose. The hoses on the pump were slashed for a quick pull, so I looked at the hose that was still on the pump and it looks like its a nylon lined rubber hose. There's one large ID nylon lined hose for inlet on the...

Weird oil leak (Top of valve cover)

Found it, PO used a lock washer instead of a crush washer on the power steering line. Found an exhaust leak when I was poking around, the bung placeholder for an egt sensor that I haven't installed yet was rattling around loose. Wish you had to pass an IQ test to put a wrench to these things.
