Thanks for the comment. Yeah I use to have those flares, but I'm not sure they were 240z flares. I bought the flares from ebay and ended up modifying it. Anyway, in the end, I ended up making my own flares and ended up ditching the ebay ones.
Thank you for the comments. Yeah, I did cut the fenders and the quarter panel. The front fender are really easy to cut, but the quarterpanel took a lot more work.
I actually thought about doing that, but I just didn't want to risk it not fitting the bumper. From the picture, it looks like it worked out great! Good job, it probably took awhile and a bit of time to get it to work? I am actually going to make a splitter that will attach to the bottom of...
I get full turns on my fender. The only catch is, if you turn really fast (like a u-turn or a ramp) and hit a bump, it will sometimes hit. But I think that goes with an lowered cars, that is why we slow down so it doesnt hit anything.I am actually thinking about my next project, which is...
There is about a 2 inch length difference. So what I did is cut off the difference and glue them back together. Its made out of polyurethane, so I was not really sure the correct way to put them together. After doing some research, I went and used a metal mesh type and loctite contruction...
I actually make the extension over the wheels or fender flares. The front flares are very easy to put in, but the rear require more cutting than front. The rear also require welding or gluing the two layer of sheet metal if you really want to do it the correct way.
Hey guys, I dont really post much in the forum but I just wanted to share my recently finished project for my car. Its a Wrx Side Skirt Extension that I modifed to fit the car. Hope you guys like it.
Hey guys, I just want to give you an update on the flares. So I finally finished the mold for the flares. I was going to post pictures, but for some reason, it wont let me. Anyway, I still have to clean up the mold a little bit, but so far so good. Also, I just want to apologize because it...
Yeah, I agree that you have to have a pretty stiff setup or something that is adjustable. I have Tien Flex Coilovers and I set where it is stiff enough but not to firm to where I am bouncing on every little bump on the road.
Well...once the molds are done. I will most likely start a new thread and see how much set I should/can make initially. Then after that it will probably be "made to order" type of thing.
